Real-Time Monitoring (RTM) Update: New Rule ID Format

TabaPay has updated the format of Real Time Monitoring (RTM) Rule IDs. Rule IDs appear in the Create Transaction response and the Real Time Monitoring report when RTM is enabled and a transaction has been rejected, or is in review (shadow mode only).

Clients should use the new ruleID format along with the ruleID table definition to decipher the meaning of each ruleID. Listed ruleIDs and definitions are found on the guide linked in the bulletin email announcement.

What’s Changing

• The newly formatted Rule IDs are returned in the API response, and will now be present in the RTM report in the Rule IDs column
• Rule IDs are returned in the API response when applicable (production, or shadow mode)

Where Rule IDs Appear

Rule IDs will appear in the RTM object in Create Transaction API and in the RTM Report response when:

• Real-Time Monitoring is enabled, and
• A transaction is either:
  • Rejected, or
  • Placed in review (shadow mode only)

RTM Response Object

The RTM response object, which includes the RTM status and associated ruleIds, is returned only when RTM is enabled.
