Requirements

For qualifying electronic funds transfers of CAD $3,000 or more, include:

• Originator’s full name, address, and account number or reference number
• Beneficiary’s full name, address, and account number or reference number
• Unique transaction identifier or reference

Review your processes and integrations to confirm that all required information is complete and accurate.

This reminder does not change existing compliance obligations.

TabaPay is evaluating additional validation controls to support these requirements. In the future TabaPay may introduce a control that prevents a transaction from processing when required Travel Rule information is missing or incomplete.
